Encounter Books, a New York based publisher, has just signed a contract with Category 4 to convert their existing videos to Flash and allow them to create Podcasts on their site.

Encounter Books contacted Category 4 with a desire to easily load/manage videos on the site. Once the discussions about the videos were underway, the Podcasting subject came up. Of course, we know how to tackle that too. Category 4 proposed using an extensible, open source Flash player, with some customizations a la Nick Piazza, to solve their needs and since their site is currently developed in Wordpress, we will be installing the Podpress plugin for easy Podcasting ability.
